January - June Mini Catalog Paper Share

What is a Product Share? It's a great way to get a little bit of all the new paper. I cut the paper to 6" X 6" pieces and you get one of each pattern. It's a great way to figure out which ones you like the most and want to invest in.

In Time For Christmas

FUN FOLD FRIDAY - Decked Out for the Holidays

You know how sometimes we are getting ready to go out, but we just don't know what to wear? Well, this card will inspire you when you want to make a fun card but just don't know what to make! I made this card with a woman in mind, but you can easily change it up for a man.

Fun folds are so much fun to make, I think this one just might be my favorite! I am including the Project Recipe so if you find yourself not knowing what card to make, you can make this one!

 

 Project Recipe: 

Card Base 8" x 5 1/2", scored at 4" 

 With a pencil, gently mark both sides of the front of the card at 2" down from top. Also, mark the center bottom of the card (2 3/4") 

 Using a ruler and bone folder, score each edge of the fold to the middle bottom and from the 2" marks to the middle bottom. Burnish those folds. 

 Designer Series Paper for Blouse (or shirt) 5" x 3 3/4" - punch or die cut 1 1/2" circle at neck with a pencil mark the middle bottom and use a trimmer to cut triangle shape 

 Make collar with 2nd smallest layering circle die and 4th smallest circle scallop die

 For embossed lapels cut 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" CS, cut diagonally into 2 pieces

Tip: Make sure lapels are the right way up before embossing - I used Tin Tile.
