Z Fold - Good Morning Magnolia

The Z-Fold Technique makes an impressive yet quick card to make. In this Z-Fold card, I used the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set and Dies.

To make this card:

- Mossy Meadow Cardstock cut at 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
- Score one half of that panel at 2 3/4" and fold
- Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper cut at 2 1/2" x 4" (for front panel)
- Whisper White Cardstock cut at 5 1/4 x 4" (bottom layer of inside of card)
- Petal Pink Cardstock cut at 5" x 3 3/4" (on top of inside white layer)
- Stamp the Large Magnolia Stamp on Watercolor Paper and cut out using the coordinating die
- Color this cut out flower using aqua painter and ink.

Dollar Tree - WOW!

It never ceases to amaze me that I can go into the Dollar Tree and get inspired creatively! Todays project was inspired by a Dollar Tree frame/shadow box. I saw the black lines on the background and immediately thought of the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.

This is the frame as I bought it. It even came with it's own library clip.

I made a square base for the stamped Magnolia with Stampin' Up! Black and Crumb Cake Cardstock. I stamped the image from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set (currently my absolute favorite), used Stampin Blends to color the image and then used the Magnolia Memory Dies to cut the image.

I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the sentiment. I love the finished product! I went back to the Dollar Tree to buy more of the frames, and, guess what? There were none left. Oh, how I love the Dollar Tree.
